Simple tips to make your casual session relaxed, fun, and unforgettable

So you’ve booked a photoshoot in Santorini—amazing! Whether you’re celebrating a romantic getaway, traveling solo, or capturing family memories, this island is the perfect backdrop. To help you feel confident and get the most out of your session, here’s everything you need to know to prepare:

1. Pick the Perfect Time of Day

Santorini is magical all day, but golden hour (just after sunrise or before sunset) offers the most flattering light and fewer crowds—especially in places like Oia or Imerovigli. I’ll help you choose the best time and location based on your schedule and vision.

2. What to Wear for Stunning Photos

Your outfit can make a big impact—here’s how to keep it simple and photo-ready:

  • Light, breathable fabrics like cotton or linen flow beautifully in the breeze.
  • Soft colors (white, beige, pastel, earth tones) look amazing against Santorini’s bright whites and blues.
  • Avoid bold patterns, logos, or anything too busy.
  • Comfortable shoes are a must—especially in Oia, where we’ll walk between scenic spots.
  • Optional: Bring a second outfit for variety, especially for longer sessions.

3. Be Sun-Smart & Camera-Ready

Santorini’s sun is strong, so come prepared:

  • Hydrate and apply sunscreen before the session.
  • Pack water and a small touch-up kit (lipstick, blotting paper, hairbrush, etc.).
  • Sunglasses and hats can double as fun, stylish props.

4. Arrive Early, Relax & Enjoy

Give yourself plenty of time to get ready, arrive calmly, and soak in the island vibes. If you’re relaxed, it shows in your photos—and we’ll have more fun creating natural, joyful moments together.

5. Don’t Stress About Posing
